Job Purpose and Impact
The Transport and Logistics Assistant will offer support in the evaluation of distribution and transportation operations, data and facilities to identify the most effective distribution and transportation patterns for products.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
- Related work experience or relevant internships / traineeship activities in an administrative / data entry and processing role
- English knowledge – medium level (B1 minimum)
- Good communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) knowledge
- Problem solving skills and strong team player
Descrierea jobului
- Support the relationship with external transport providers
- Perform data entry updates in spreadsheets and databases based on transportation orders and contracts and provide data to more senior team members for further analysis
- Timely and accurate data input (SAP/TMS) to ensure KPI reporting
- Keep clear track of all papers and documents proving the execution of the shipment and archive them accordingly
- Handle vendor management internal processes (onboarding, compliance and relationship management)
- Offer support in the distribution, transportation and logistical solutions on inbound or outbound movement of raw material
- Follow up with the execution of the shipments. Monitor the status of the loading and shipment and perform track and trace activities to confirm status of shipment throughout the shipment execution process
- Handle and solve basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff
