Technical Team Leader – Fleet Operations

💼 What we’re looking for:

• At least 2 years of experience in a in a technical/automotive environment (fleet management, service, maintenance, or repairs);

• Someone who can guide and support a team of technicians, assign tasks, and keep things running smoothly;

• Organized and detail-oriented, likes to plan work and keep track of everything properly;

• Comfortable using Excel and fleet management tools to track repairs, services, and vehicle data;

• Good understanding of how cars work and how to keep them in top shape, including regular maintenance and checks;

• Experience working with workshops or suppliers, making sure cars get fixed quickly and efficiently.

• Able to check information carefully and prepare simple reports;

• Can communicate in English at least at a conversational level

• High level of integrity and sense of responsibility;

• Eager to roll up your sleeves and help the team improve things day by day.

• Salary of up to 6,793 RON, consisting of a fixed salary plus meal tickets plus performance-based bonuses linked to KPI achievement;

• Schedule and track preventive maintenance;
• Respect interval downtime for maintenance;
• Ensures that cars are scheduled on time.

• Assist in escalating high-cost damages or repeat incidents to the Fleet Manager;
• Inspect returned vehicles for damage and document findings in the fleet system;
• Collaborate with workshops and suppliers to minimize vehicle downtime. Schedule and follow up on service appointments.

• Record and validate all fleet-related invoices;
• Support monthly and quarterly budget reporting with clean, accurate data;
• Monitor local fleet-related expenses, validate and track invoices for accuracy before submission to finance.

• Ensure all service entries, supplier invoices, and inspection data are logged correctly;
• Maintain vehicle records (status, service history, mileage, damages, movements) in the fleet management system;
• Generate and review basic reports on vehicle status, availability, and reccurent issues.

• Supervise and support the daily activities of a local fleet operations team;
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and coach team members;
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and team training plans.

• Support the Fleet Manager with reporting, supplier feedback, and operational insights;
• Step in to manage escalations or team tasks when the manager is unavailable;
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and team training plans.
