Support sales colleagues with technical feasibility studies, cost calculations, bids, and tenders for existing or new inquiries and customers from a technical perspective.
Actively contributes to the transition from standard to customer-specific profiles, preferably with surface treatment and machining, depending on customer needs.
Analyze, filter and provide relevant information related to customers’ requirements to members of other departments such as engineering/process, production, and quality. Translate product requirements into the organization.
Participate in factory meetings with other departments to understand problems and solutions for a wide range of profiles. Active participation and coordination for action plans meant to solve the technical bottlenecks.
Understand new product/project requirements and guide the organization to identify future growth opportunities by expanding our current portfolio and/or customer markets.
Follow up on new products/projects to understand differences between the offer phase and production phase and implement improvements for the future.
Establish and technically support Area Sales Representatives and key customer contacts to build relationships with existing and potential customers.
Participate in quarterly sales meetings.
Coordinate and actively participate in production, follow up in testing phase and product homologation
Part of product development team from inquiry analysis up to serial product implementation
Calculates and prepares relevant reports directly related to the technical sales department activity
Participate together with the salespeople at customer meetings/ visits on technical subjects, if/when the case.
Provide technical feedback and work in direct contact with the quality department in case of technical nonconformities/ challenges to provide feedback, technical explanation and support for problem solving
Analyze and provide specific technical input to specific questions/requirements, specific documents customers may request ( technical specifications agreements, quality agreements with technical requirements, Questionnaires about technical capabilities, etc.)
Study, learn and use the extrusion specific norms mandatory to be considered in the feasibility analysis for product development.
Communication with dies suppliers for technical solutions in the presale analysis phase.
