Your responsibilities:

• Design calculations and dimensioning of raw ceramic products

• Creating, optimizing and updating technical drawings and dimensional drawings, as well as the associated bills of materials

• Independently coordinating and clarifying technical requirements with supporting departments and suppliers

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and design guidelines

• Designing and optimizing test and production aids

• Supporting manufacturing process optimization from a design perspective

• Independently coordinating and clarifying the technical requirements for production equipment with the relevant departments

• Specifying and designing production equipment in accordance with applicable guidelines and standards

• Coordinating the procurement of production equipment from external suppliers or internal manufacturing, including obtaining quotations, evaluation and ordering

Your qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a Technical Product Designer or further education as a Mechanical Engineering Technician

• Sound knowledge of common MS Office applications and the CAD software Solid Edge

• Professional experience in technical ceramics or in the specification and design of production equipment

• Team player with a structured way of working

• Good English skills
