Technical Draftsman

The position is assigned within the Retail Asset Management Team, meaning that the main responsibilities will focus on the growing operational assets. It offers a unique chance to observe and contribute to the dynamic function and evolution of a commercial project.

The candidate will have the opportunity to learn about and understand all specific aspects of retail architecture management in order to contribute to a better organization of the company’s large portfolio of commercial developments.

Requirements & Skills:

• Technical background, preferably but not mandatory Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or similar
• Experience in a construction/architecture office or development company
• AutoCAD software and Microsoft Office
• Good speaking and written command in English
• Previous experience in retail is not mandatory, but preferable

Responsibilities:

• Thus, the candidate’s main responsibilities shall include:
• Collaboration on projects regarding the transformation and improvement of existing assets, from simple partitions and furniture changes to building extensions and general refurbishment
• Keep a healthy communication line with all involved parties, from center and technical managers to asset directors and leasing colleagues but also with other functions, such as construction, development and legal
• Draw required and/or requested research, information and layouts according to current planning and company objectives (most often asset plans, contract annexes or other components per case/request)
• Understand requirements and objectives in order to follow them through.
• Achieve established goals and meet deadlines
• Maintain and update project’s general and specific information
• Understand general building codes and construction methods
• Comply to company internal regulations
