Candidatul Ideal
We are currently looking for a Tech Lead for our in-house product development team (core platform, B2C mobile applications, B2B mobile application), someone who can build a team and inspire growth and innovation. In this role, you'll build and lead a cross-functional agile team, guiding technical direction, and championing best practices. We value problem-solving skills, focus on quality, and a commitment to mentoring colleagues.
The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator, a proficient problem solver, with a strong background in software development, as well as team coordination.
Requirements
- Architecture and development experience in backend engineering, with focus on RESTful services
- A good understanding of distributed systems
- A strong Java core knowledge with exposure to Java 8 / 11 / 17
- Strong knowledge of the Spring ecosystem: Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
- Proficiency in database technologies (MySQL)
- Experience with CI / CD for application deployment to the Cloud AWS
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and exercise good judgment when making decisions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and inspire a sense of ownership among team members
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead in a product-based software development environment
- Strong expertise in software development using Java EE, Docker and JavaScript-based technologies, as well as relational databases.
- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.
- Good knowledge of the Spring Framework
- Experience with AWS.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and inspire a sense of ownership among team members.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges, make critical decisions, and deliver high-quality software products on time.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and positive attitude, passionate, self starter with a can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Team player who can build strong relationships at all levels.
- Degree in Computer Science.

Technical Leadership:
Shaping the technical organization by being a go-to person for technical decisions affecting multiple teams.
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, setting performance expectations, and fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Actively contribute to elevating the technical knowledge of backend engineers.
Assign and follow up on tasks assigned to the team, leading the technical delivery of the squad roadmap.Hands-on
Development:
Contribute to coding and programming tasks as needed, taking ownership of critical components, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the code produced by the team.
Write code that meets high-quality standards, fully covering the code with tests.
Use best practices to improve the existing code.Product Development:
Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements, scope and priorities for the product.
Architecture and Design:
Participate in the architectural decision-making process, ensuring that the software is scalable, maintainable, and adheres to best practices and security/data-privacy standards.
Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team, identifying opportunities to enhance productivity, efficiency, and software quality by adapting the development processes to support our goals.
Other responsibilities: code reviews, work coordination across teams to ensure timely delivery of features, mentoring and growing the team, offering constructive feedback.

Up until 3 years ago, we offered this service only through our 11.000+ un-doi Centru de plati partner stores, where people could pay in cash. Starting 2020 we launched the un-doi Centru de plăți mobile app, both for iOS and Android, to also cover the needs of those customers who prefer handling these payments from an all-in-one solution on their mobile phones.
Besides the B2C apps, we’ve also developed a mobile app for our partner stores - Click by un-doi. This is a simple solution for offering our services & payment collection.
