We have an opportunity for a Squad Lead (Technical Team Lead) to contribute to the development of a large-scale cloud-native microservices platform in the Mobility and digital payments space. As a Squad Lead, you will lead a team of approximately 6–7 software developers and QA engineers, while remaining close to the technical implementation. The role combines people leadership, delivery ownership and strong technical contribution, especially around backend development, microservices architecture and engineering quality. Your role will be to help the squad deliver reliable, scalable and well-structured software, while supporting the team’s technical maturity, performance and collaboration with Product, Architecture and Delivery stakeholders. Lead a squad of 6-7 software developers and QA engineers, ensuring clear priorities, delivery focus and healthy team dynamics. Contribute to technical decisions, solution design, code quality and implementation standards. Support the Delivery Lead in maintaining high engineering standards and meeting delivery milestones. Guide the team in building and evolving microservices-based solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and cloud technologies. Review technical approaches, challenge design decisions and ensure alignment with the broader platform architecture. Participate in refinements with the Product Owner and help translate user stories into technically sound delivery plans. Stay close to the codebase through technical reviews, peer review, solution validation and hands-on contribution when needed. Monitor squad performance, workload, quality and delivery predictability.Mentor team members, support skills development and provide regular feedback. Collaborate with distributed teams and stakeholders involved in product, architecture, delivery and platform development.
