- 1+ years of previous leadership experience;
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer;
- Good understanding and working experience with Java and related technologies: Spring, SpringBoot, Hibernate, JSP/Servlets;
- Experience with front-end development;
- Knowledge of relational databases;
- Experience with web services (REST, SOAP) development and integration;
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills;
- Proactive and problem-solving attitude, with a high-level of curiosity and a passion for learning and growth;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with document management systems and/or BPM Technologies.

As part of the delivery process, you will be involved from the early analysis and design phases, where our Business Analysts colleagues define implementation details. At this stage it will be determined whether the project will rely solely on standard DMS functionalities or if custom developments are needed. All requirements will be translated into technical specifications that you and your team will bring to life.
Depending on the particularities of each project, you’ll be involved in most stages of the SDLC, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on the delivery process, which we aim to improve with every new implementation.
We value a collaborative environment, so you’ll work closely with other teams: Business Analysis, Support, and Product (yes, the DMS we implement is an in-house developed product managed by one of our teams). You'll also foster the same collaborative mindset within your team—encouraging them to actively engage with colleagues across other teams to drive both personal growth and the delivery of high-quality solutions for our clients.
As a Team Lead, your involvement won’t always be hands-on. For this role, the main focus is to coordinate, coach, and guide the team to ensure all aspects of ongoing implementations are effectively covered. Your role balance between leadership responsibilities and hands-on project delivery will be around 50/50.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of full-stack Java developers, encouraging a culture of learning, teamwork, and helping everyone grow and hit their goals;
- Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, spot any risks or opportunities early on, and take action to keep things on track;
- Lead the development and maintenance of our custom-developed components from planning to production support;
- Partner with internal stakeholders to design and implement efficient delivery processes;
- Define and encourage best practices—whether it’s writing clean code, keeping things well-documented, sticking to security standards, doing code reviews, or making sure everything’s properly tested;
- Keep up with the latest tech trends and tools so you can drive innovation.
