Teacher of Computer Science

Avenor College is welcoming a knowledgeable, passionate Teacher of Computer Science to join a collaborative Department and teach in a modern, purpose built laboratory, from August 2024.
The department offers a learning platform for computing in the middle school, IGCSE Cambridge Computer Science, and AS/A2 Cambridge Computer science.
As a teacher in our school, you would be expected to be able to motivate through differentiation all our students, as well as being a positive role model for our colleagues. We would particularly welcome colleagues who are confident at mentoring students, coaching staff, providing CPD activities to their own direct colleagues or even at whole school level.

ABOUT AVENOR COLLEGE
We are a non-profit school for students aged 2-19, founded in 2007.
The Avenor College team has grown organically, along with the number of students in Nursery, School and High School. We currently have 130 educators, teachers and collaborators and we are in a continuous recruitment process. We are looking for professionals in education who share our values and principles in order to become builders of the future together.
