Tax Analyst

Business Administration degree or similar;
Min. 2 years experience in Finance or Accounting in multinational environment
Indirect tax knowledge
Working experience in “Big 4” is a plusSAP & Microsoft Office (Excel Advanced) is a must
Strongly process oriented and able to manage facts and figures;
Strong analytical skills.

• Produces VAT return information from the accounting system.
• Calculates the VAT recovery under the partial exemption method.
• Regular reconciliation of the VAT control accounts and records.
• Maintains the accuracy of VAT transactions on the accounting systems by:

checking the VAT rates,
liaising with the relevant staff and
Updating the VAT rules in a partially exempt organization.

• Active management of third party service provider
• Supports the implementation of new business, systems and processes into the RFC, may participate in the SAP implementation of new businesses within EMEA
• Assists and supports team members in their investigation of reconciling differences
• Checks relevant documents according to conformity with local and international taxes regulations
• Ensures the overall company awareness of modification in VAT legislation.
• Works closely with the Corporate Regional Tax Manager on higher level VAT planning issues
• Supports the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Management and External Audit testing for VAT and other tax cycles
• May prepare external reporting and tax workbooks for various legal entities
• Ensures compliance of the Honeywell Finance Operating model and Accounting Policies
• Manage process performance to drive continuous improvement
