You will play a key role in analyzing customer requirements and intralogistics objectives to develop technically sound and customized system solutions. Using tools like 3D AutoCAD, Visual Components, MS Project, and Excel, you will create detailed layouts and simulations that integrate Kardex technologies with specialized applications and third-party components.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the preparation of technical quotations, solution presentations, system drawings, and required documentation to ensure high-quality, timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical/industrial/electrical/intra-logistics/Mechatronics engineering
- Professional experience in 3D and/or 2d AutoCAD solution design and implementation of complex technical/engineering projects ( using mechanical, electrical, automatized, clima control, SW solutions)
- Expertise in warehouse automation, logistics processes and systems (supply chain, automation, WMS) is a plus
- Solid 2D/3D AutoCAD and 3D drawing programs (e.g. Visual Components) and MS Office
- Solid project management and presentation skills
- English – advanced level
- B active driving license
- Solution-oriented team player with high customer focus and growth mindset
- Willingness to travel regularly to customers across entire Romania, but also occasionally in nearby business region countries (Hungary, Slovenia, Austria)
- Structured, independent and self-organized
- Ability to work/partner cross-functionally, with our internal & external partners and customers
- Solid communication and negotiation skills
- Willing to be part of a Sales Customer oriented team and act as a tech consultant to the other team members

- Act as a technical expert supporting the local Sales team in designing and proposing complete, customized intralogistics solutions that go beyond standard offerings.
- Analyze and document customer requirements, ensuring accurate translation into technical concepts and detailed system designs.
- Develop comprehensive cost calculations for equipment, peripherals, software, and network components, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project timelines.
- Define project framework conditions, including technical feasibility, delivery timelines, and risk assessments, in coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Collaborate with suppliers to validate technical feasibility and lead times, while proactively managing internal communication regarding technical and commercial risks.
- Support the preparation of solution-specific content for customer proposals, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer expectations.
- Create system layouts and technical drafts using 3D AutoCAD, incorporating Kardex Remstar technologies and specialized applications (e.g., fire protection, climate control, clean room environments), while evaluating alternative competitor solutions to reduce technical risk.
- Apply a deep understanding of intralogistics processes to design efficient, scalable, and low-risk solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Lead the internal price inquiry (PI) process for customized product adaptations and coordinate technical clarifications with non-Kardex suppliers.
- Provide technical support during the sales phase for complex projects (e.g., Type 2C), including customer presentations and solution walkthroughs.
- Ensure seamless handover of designed solutions to the Realization, Implementation, and Installation teams, contributing to high-quality, on-time project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the broader Solution Design team across the CEEU region to share best practices and support regional project needs.
- Utilize tools such as Visual Components for simulation and layout validation, MS Project for project planning, and Excel for data analysis, cost modeling, and reporting.
