Site Reliability Engineer (226991)

• Education/ Training: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
• Professional Experience:
  • Good knowledge of cloud-native technologies - Azure Services, Functions etc.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies as well as development tools - Git, build tools, etc.
  • CI/CD knowledge - Azure Pipelines, Azure DevOps
  • Virtualization technologies - various hypervisors management, implementation of virtualized infrastructures
  • Containerization technologies - Docker, Kubernetes
  • Good scripting knowledge - Shell, Python
  • Good networking knowledge - protocols, cloud networking
  • Comfortable with network troubleshooting (tcpdump, routing, proxies, firewalls, load balancers)

• Manage major service outages - offering support, handling service incidents and activities in case of major production disruptions or outages
• Investigate root cause of severe and systemic outages, identify corrective actions
• Establish performance baseline, capacity thresholds, correlate events and define monitoring/alerting criteria
• Responsible to monitor and to ensure the proper functionality of the company's cloud-based systems
• Responsible to change tools and apps configurations in order to automate manual tasks or processes
• Offer 2nd and 3rd level support for cloud implementations
