Site Administrator

We are currently looking, on behalf of one of our key clients, for a skilled Site Administrator to join a major renewable energy project in Vaslui, Salcioara (start date 16th of June - 14th of November 2025, possible extension) and Călărași area (6th of April 2026 - 12th of March 2027, possible extension), Romania.

We expect you to be an experienced and driven Site Manager who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality results in the field. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a pragmatic mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

- Proven leadership on construction or energy project sites, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively resolve issues on-site.
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, environmental regulations, safety standards, and project execution best practices.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, able to clearly report progress, escalate risks, and build trusted relationships with clients, engineers, and local authorities.
- Results-oriented and structured, with the ability to manage schedules, resources, and budgets while maintaining a high level of quality and compliance.
- Comfortable working under pressure and in changing environments, showing resilience, flexibility, and accountability.
- A problem-solver at heart, always seeking continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

🎓 Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in site management, preferably in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or industrial construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management tools; knowledge of planning software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Romanian (spoken and written).
- A clean criminal record, a valid category B driving license, and a letter of recommendation are mandatory documents for this position.

As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management, coordination, and supervision of all on-site construction activities. You will act as the key point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, safety, and quality standards.

- Oversee and coordinate all site activities and personnel on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure project execution is aligned with construction drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to safety and quality requirements.
- Manage site logistics, materials delivery, equipment, and resource planning.
- Conduct regular site inspections and report progress, issues, and risks to senior management.
- Maintain accurate site records including progress reports, incident reports, and logs.
- Liaise with local authorities, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, and permitting requirements.
- Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols and lead safety briefings.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, planners, and the project manager to ensure seamless execution.
