The Role: Firefly’s AB Leading Edge

As a Service Engineer, you are our most vital link to the customer. You aren't just "fixing things" - you are an advisor and a technical expert.

Your key responsibilities:

• Commissioning: Bringing advanced, tailor-made system solutions to life at customer sites.
• Optimization: Performing preventive maintenance and complex troubleshooting across electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
• Education: Training customers in system functionality and daily maintenance to ensure long-term safety.
• Collaboration: Working independently in the field while staying synced with Area Sales Managers and Technical Project Leaders dedicated to our market.

Note: This role involves significant travel within Romania & Balkan region, offering a dynamic work environment where no two weeks are the same.

About You

You are a "hands-on" person who enjoys the challenge of diagnosing a complex issue and the satisfaction of solving it. You are comfortable being the expert in the room and can communicate technical concepts clearly.

Qualifications:

• Education: Upper secondary engineering degree or several years of proven experience in technical service.
• Technical Versatility: Strong troubleshooting skills in electricity, electronics, and mechanics.
• IT Literacy: Comfortable with modern software and diagnostic tools.
• Language: Fluency in Romanian and a functional command of English (written and spoken).
• Logistics: Valid Driver’s License and a willingness to travel extensively.
• Physical Ability: Comfortable working at heights.

Bonus Points:

• Previous experience as a traveling Service Engineer.
• Familiarity with various process industries (e.g., woodworking, tissue, food or recycling, etc.).
