Candidatul Ideal
- Strong knowledge of accounting and controlling
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position
- Sound knowledge of SAP FI and /or SAP CO modules for Accounting & Controlling with SAP
- Flexible way of working and ability of dealing with complexity
- Team player with a positive solution oriented mindset
- MS Office tools, specially Excel are a "must have" and additional digital tools (like Power BI) are nice to have
- Languages: English (business fluent); German is not mandatory, but would be a plus

As a financial all year round, the Senior SAP Accountant & Controller is responsible for the most important F&A topics of Kardex Austria and Slovenia (local sales and service business core departments). An essential part is the coordination and preparation of monthly closings, consolidation and related analyses. The role holder also manages tax, accounting, liquidity and ad-hoc requests from key contacts of both organizations (AT/SI).
The Senior SAP Accountant & Controller acts as a strong business partner for key stakeholders, ensuring professional collaboration across all levels of the organization (e.g. functions, matrix organization, countries). As a sparring partner of the Director Finance & Administration (CFO), he/she coordinates the monthly forecasts, the annual budgeting process and plays an important role in supporting internal compliance measures for both countries.
The most important contents summarized:
- Coordination of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (local financial statements and SWISS GAP FER)
- Independent and conscientious processing of the various accounting processes
- Coordination of the financial statement preparation process with the specialist departments and ongoing collaboration with other areas (Group Controlling, Treasury, back office)
- Monthly forecasts in close coordination with the local teams (New Business & Service Teams)
- Payroll accounting in collaboration with the external payroll office and HR business partner
- Implementation of internal compliance guidelines in the F&A area (ICS system)
- Business partnering and ad-hoc requests (local and regional team)
- Collaboration in the annual budgeting process
- Close cooperation with external stakeholders in AT/SI (tax consultants/payroll office/banks/authorities)
- Sparring partner of the CFO
