We are a top-10 Romanian iGaming operator by GGR running €170K+/month in Google Ads across Search, Demand Gen, Video, and Performance Max. We are scaling aggressively and preparing for a sportsbook launch timed to FIFA World Cup 2026. Our paid acquisition channel needs a level of management sophistication that matches the budget. We need someone who has operated at this scale before, who knows exactly what “good” looks like at tier-1 operators, and who can deliver measurable improvement fast.
This is not a junior role being called senior. We are looking for a hands-on operator who has personally managed six- and seven-figure monthly paid search budgets in regulated iGaming. If you have been the person responsible for CPR, CPFTD, and ROAS at a major operator — not someone who reviewed reports about it — this role is for you.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
Minimum 4 years managing Google Ads in iGaming/online gambling, specifically in regulated European markets.
Direct, hands-on experience managing monthly Google Ads budgets of €100K+ (not agency oversight — actual in-platform execution where you made the decisions).
Previous employment at a tier-1 or tier-2 iGaming operator with serious paid search operations. Target companies: Superbet, Betano (Kaizen Gaming), Entain (bwin/partypoker), Flutter/FEG (FanDuel/PokerStars/Betfair), Unibet (Kindred Group), 888/William Hill, or equivalent scale. Candidates from operators with significantly smaller budgets will not have the pattern recognition this role requires.
Deep working knowledge of Google Ads auction mechanics, Smart Bidding algorithms, RSA optimization, Quality Score levers, and attribution models.
You must be able to discuss your previous performance metrics openly and specifically — CPR, CPFTD, ROAS, conversion rates, budget levels. We will ask about these in detail during the interview process. Candidates who cannot share concrete numbers from their experience will not advance.
Fluent English required.

What You Will Do
Immediate (First 30 Days)
Full diagnostic of all campaigns: CPR, CPFTD, and ROAS broken down by campaign, ad group, keyword, and device. Identify where efficiency can be improved and build an action plan with timelines.
Search term report audit and negative keyword buildout across all active campaigns.
Bid strategy assessment — evaluate current setup, test tCPA and tROAS strategies on high-volume campaigns with documented hypotheses.
Landing page conversion analysis — identify any registration or deposit funnel friction and coordinate fixes with the product team.
Establish a weekly reporting cadence with clearly defined KPI targets and variance triggers that you own.
Ongoing
Day-to-day management of all Google Ads campaigns for the MLN brand with full budget authority within agreed parameters.
Structured A/B testing: ad copy angles, landing pages, bid strategies, audience segments — documented with hypothesis, test design, and results.
Proactive search term management: weekly negative keyword additions, match type optimization, keyword expansion based on converting terms.
Audience strategy: RLSA implementation, in-market and custom intent segments, demographic bid adjustments based on performance data.
Creative refresh driven by performance signals — not calendar-based changes, but CTR-decay and ad-strength triggered rotation with meaningful variation in messaging angles.
Cross-channel coordination with the internal marketing team on promotions, landing pages, and sportsbook launch campaigns.
What We Expect
This is an execution-first role. You will be in the Google Ads interface daily, making decisions backed by data, and held accountable to clearly defined targets on CPR, CPFTD, and ROAS. We expect you to identify and flag problems proactively — not after they are escalated to you.
Specifically: if a key acquisition metric moves 15%+ in the wrong direction over two consecutive weeks, we expect a written root-cause analysis and action plan within 48 hours. Not a budget adjustment — a diagnosis with concrete corrective steps.
Compensation
We are offering a compensation package designed to attract top performers from tier-1 operators:
Base salary: 50% above the Romanian market average for this role and seniority level.
Performance bonus: substantial quarterly bonus tied directly to measurable improvement in CPR, CPFTD, and ROAS vs. baseline. If you deliver the results, your total compensation will significantly exceed market.
Full-time, in-house position. Bucharest preferred; remote within Romania considered for exceptional candidates.
