- Develop and maintain PHP/MySQL applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Design and implement APIs to facilitate seamless integration with front-end applications and external services.
- Optimize database queries for efficiency, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.
- Develop and enhance features for mobile and OTT applications (Roku, FireTV, AppleTV, AndroidTV, Smart TVs).
- Provide support via email and ticketing systems, troubleshooting backend-related issues as they arise.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PHP and MySQL development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Proficiency in database design (normalization, indexing).
- Familiarity with streaming servers (e.g., Wowza, Red5) and media delivery protocols (RTMP, HLS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on performance, scalability, and security best practices for web applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with media streaming technologies (HLS, DASH, RTMP) and video encoding workflows.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms and integrations.
- Familiarity with mobile and OTT application development (Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, Smart TV).
- Experience with MVC frameworks (e.g., CakePHP, Laravel, Symfony, or similar).
