SENIOR PCB LAYOUT DESIGN ENGINEER - SIBIU

Due to expansion, we are looking for a Senior PCB LAYOUT Design Engineer for a R&D Department in Sibiu.

Job requirements:

To be able to fill the position properly, you should have:

 a completed university study, preferably electrical engineering or electronics;
 minimum 5+ years experience as a PCB layouter;
 ability to design complex boards, having FPGAs, high speed interfaces and/or power electronics;
 knowledge on defining custom stack-ups;
 know and apply the DFM/DFX principles;
 experience with tools as Cadence OrCAD and/or Siemens Xpedition (or willingness to learn in case of significant experience with other tools);
 good knowledge of English language in spoken and writing.
 a pro-active attitude;
 good communication skills, both within the development team and externally, towards customers;
 team player profile but also somebody who can also work independently.

As an experienced engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary project team within the engineering department consisting of engineers in the fields of hardware, embedded software, FPGA and LabVIEW.
We are looking for electronics engineers who can design a board that has an FPGA on it (as the electronic component, a BGA).

The activities of the project team vary from specifying, designing, realizing up to and including the commissioning of electronics. You work on diverse projects in various application domains in the high-tech industry. This position is suitable for people with several years of work experience and looking for a versatile job.
