Requirements

University degree in finance/accounting
Knowledge of cost control mechanisms
Confident use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Knowledge of an accounting system is a plus
Very good communication skills
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Understand of the legal complexities of operational, administrative or development contracts, interest rates, penalties, and their impact on payments
Have a pro-active, positive attitude, independent, flexibility, organized, good team member
Demonstrate problem solving capacity, effective time management, ability to work independently in accordance with Group Policies and Procedures
Be honest and up front, communicate clearly with no mitigation

Monitor and analyze construction and property operational costs compared to budget and approved variances;
Check accuracy, and completeness of ︁︀︂︃︃︈︃︁︃︀all related documentation before approving payments in the bank system
Identify and investigate unusual variances and exceptions with senior management, check compliance with internal policies in place
Actively seek ways of improving process efficiency, implementing industry best practice and identifying cost saving solutions
Assist in the identification of new, and development of existing, procedures and systems associated with the operational activity of the Group to ensure that best practice is maintained across the portfolio
Help in designing work flows to be implemented in Group’s ERP, to increase efficiency and accuracy of output data
Manage bank accounts and upload/release payments in line with the Group’s “Four eyes” principle
Serve as main link between operations and accounting departments
Cross- functions collaboration with Accounting, Development, Operational and Financial teams to ensure compliance with internal regulations
