We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize logistics operations within a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment. This role is central to ensuring smooth production flow, high service levels, and strong alignment between customer demand, production planning, and material availability.

- University degree;
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry;
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes and production systems;
- Proven experience with SAP and Supply Chain Management (SCM) principles;
- Knowledge of transport legislation and customer-specific requirements;
- Very good understanding of economic principles relevant to logistics and supply chain operations;
- Proficiency in English, German is an advantage.
- End-to-end logistics and supply chain process expertise;
- Production and capacity planning competence;
- KPI management and performance optimization;
- Inventory control and materials management;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership skills, including delegation, decision-making, motivation, and employee development;

Key Responsibilities
- Leads and continuously develops the Logistics Department, ensuring high performance and cross-functional collaboration;
- Develops and executes the organization’s logistics and supply chain strategy aligned with overall business objectives;
- Coordinates and oversees logistics activities including production planning, customer service, order management, material flow, and operative logistics;
- Ensures accurate and efficient production planning in line with agreed capacity, customer requirements, and material availability;
- Develops and manages logistics budgets and control operational expenses;
- Monitors and controls logistics spend, ensuring costs remain within approved budgets while maintaining service levels;
- Makes sure that the customer requirement is directly correlated with the internal production plan and material procurement;
- Identifies and manages logistics risks, including disruption planning, contingency strategies, and compliance exposure;
- Collaborates with other departments in order to align logistics capabilities with growth plans;
- Monitors and achieves key performance indicators (KPIs), including premium freight costs, Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), on-time delivery, and backlog performance;
- Analyzes data, prepares reports and proposes measures on logistics performance, KPIs;
- Identifies the improvement potential by removing waste from the logistics processes;
- Ensures proper implementation and execution of periodic inventory processes;
- Leads, mentors, and develops the logistics team to build a high-performance, accountable, and engaged organization;
- Defines clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations aligned with logistics and business objectivess
- Establishes a culture of continuous improvement, safety, compliance, and customer focus across all logistics functions;
