ManpowerGroup Romania is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior Controls & Compliance Analyst, position within an Global Business Services environment supporting a major international FMCG organization.

As part of a large-scale transformation program, we are looking for an experienced Senior Controls & Compliance Analyst to join the GBS greanfield team in Bucharest.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring effective compliance with internal control frameworks across Supply Chain and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes. Acting from a centralized hub, you will collaborate closely with local markets, global stakeholders, and third-party service providers (3PSPs) to ensure control requirements are consistently implemented and maintained.

This position plays a key role in governance, performance monitoring, audit readiness, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the effectiveness and compliance of business operations.

Required Experience:
  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance Controls & Compliance, Order-to-Cash (O2C), Supply Chain, or related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP FSCM, control frameworks, and financial analytics.
  • Experience within a Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services environment is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance methodologies, and audit processes.
  • Knowledge of SOX and internal audit standards is considered an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to translate technical requirements into business-relevant solutions.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CIA, or CISA represent a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of control and compliance frameworks within Supply Chain and Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Ensure that all control requirements are implemented and consistently followed by countries and third-party service providers.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Identify control gaps, assess associated risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for controls-related activities between countries, global teams, and 3PSPs.
  • Drive alignment and standardization of control practices across multiple geographies.
  • Facilitate effective communication, issue escalation, and risk management activities.
  • Establish and maintain regular performance review cycles (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to assess 3PSP compliance with defined control KPIs.
  • Monitor adherence to control requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Identify performance gaps and drive corrective action plans with service providers.
  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the provider network.
  • Support internal and external audits, including SOX, statutory, and compliance audits.
  • Ensure audit readiness through proper documentation and control evidence maintenance.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to collect, validate, and present audit documentation in a timely manner.
  • Track audit findings, oversee remediation plans, and ensure timely closure of actions.
  • Prepare and maintain dashboards and reports related to control performance, compliance metrics, and audit activity.
  • Provide actionable insights regarding control effectiveness and improvement opportunities.
  • Support management reviews with analysis of key risks, trends, and mitigation measures.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization, simplification, and automation of control processes.
  • Promote best practices across countries and service providers.
  • Support the implementation of new tools, systems, and compliance frameworks.
