Skills required:
- Proven experience in manual and automated testing (minimum 3 years)
- Hands-on SQL experience for data validation; Good know how for at least SELECT, GROUP BY, all types of JOINS, conditions, functions.
- Automation frameworks knowledge: e.g. Selenium
- Hands-on experience with Python/Scala
- Good understanding of software development processes: e.g. Agile / Scrum
- Experience with GIT and CI / CD tools: e.g. Team City, Jenkins
- Strong analytical skills, attention to details and a quality driven mindset
- Good communication skills
Nice To Have: C++ knowledge
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Automation Engineer you are required to drive the 'hands on' execution of the test strategy and plan, contribute or drive test planning and test approach activities including the test preparation, execution, analysis and reporting activities as well as creation and maintenance of automated test cases for projects part of the Anti-Fraud, Bribery and Corruption Division with a focus on back-end technologies. The ideal candidate should have solid background in technology, software development, testing and test automation tools.
- Work closely with the team members in an Agile environment to test both backend and frontend applications, using both automated and manual testing approaches
- Design, maintain and execute manual and automated test cases
- Write and run detailed test cases and test plans
- Identify, document and track defects until they are resolved
- Construct SQL queries to work with the database and validate, analyze data integrity
- Contribute to the CI / CD pipelines
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing best practices
- Participate to all required meetings: with team members and stakeholder
