Required Skills & Experience:
✓ University graduate in an economical field (Accounting/Finance);
✓ Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; IFRS exposure would be a plus
✓ Very good accounting and fiscal knowledge;
✓ Good communication skills and proactive person;
✓ Self-motivated and positive attitude;
✓ Analytical and logical thinking;
✓ Accuracy, timeliness and diligence;
✓ Good computer skills;
✓ Very good knowledge of Excel;
✓ Good knowledge of English

Main responsibilities:
✓ Manage day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with internal policies and regulations;
✓ Register all financial documents in the accounting system, ensuring proper supporting documentation
✓ Review accounting entries and perform periodic account reconciliations (AP/AR/GL, VAT, bank and balance sheet accounts), ensuring data accuracy and promptly investigating discrepancies
✓ Prepares, check and archives primary documents (supplier invoices, bank statements, receipts, other documents);
✓ Support month-end and year-end closing activities (accruals, prepayments and other closing entries)
✓ Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and related supporting documentation
✓ Prepare periodic internal management reports and support ad-hoc reporting needs
✓ Assist with preparation and submission of tax declarations (e.g. D300, D390, D394) and ensure fiscal compliance
✓ Prepare periodical statistical reports for the National Bank of Romania and the National Institute of Statistics, where applicable
✓ Stay updated on accounting regulations, tax legislation and best practices
✓ Participate in statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely documentation and explanations
✓ Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate financial deliverables
✓ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business transactions and their impact on both financial and management accounting
✓ Identify process improvements opportunities and contribute to enhancing efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations
✓ Support the Finance Director with various reports and finance-related projects
✓ Perform other accounting-related activities, as required
