Senior Accountant

We are looking for a new colleague with:

- willingness to continue with success a career path in accounting and the ability to fit in and adapt to the team;
- good knowledge of Romanian accounting and fiscal legislation;

- the ability to manage his/her own time effectively;
- written and verbal communication skills necessary (in Romanian and English/German) to effectively interact with all levels of firm management and staff, clients and other external business contacts;
- the ability to take responsibility for the undertaken actions;
- positive and enthusiastic attitude;
- open personality, customer oriented behavior;
- more than 3 years working experience in accounting;
- graduate in Economics or other relevant areas
- IFRS knowledge is an advantage.

As Senior Accountant you will be responsible as part of a team to carry out that all records, transactions, reports and documentation are in compliance with Romanian laws and regulations, in collaboration with managers or senior staff members, when the case.

Main responsibilities:

- perform full accounting evidence for clients’ portfolio;
- assure that all records, transactions, reports and documentation are in compliance with Romanian laws and regulations;
- calculate taxes according to Romanian fiscal legislation;
- prepare all declarations as required by law;
- prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Romanian laws for the assigned clients;
- provide assistance and advice to clients on all matters regarding accounting issues;
- provide assistance during tax inspections;
- prepare group or other reports requested by the clients;
- prepare reports required by the National Institute of Statistics or the National Bank of Romania;
- coach junior accountants in developing their professional competency.
