• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 7–10 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CECCAR, or equivalent) represents an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, statutory reporting, consolidation, and tax accounting.
• Experience working within multinational, industrial, or group reporting environments.
• Practical exposure to tax reporting processes and collaboration with tax functions is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and/or French GAAP, financial close activities, reporting cycles, and internal control frameworks.
• Proven experience supporting external audits, statutory filings, and interactions with regulatory or tax authorities.
• Experience within multi-entity organizations, joint ventures, or energy-sector environments is considered a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to resolve complex accounting and reporting matters.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluency in both English and French (minimum B2 level; C1 preferred)

• Prepare and review financial accounting records, statutory financial statements, supporting disclosures, and consolidated reporting packages while ensuring timely submission and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Calculate and validate current and deferred tax positions, prepare tax-related reporting, and contribute to IFRS consolidation processes.
• Coordinate year-end financial statement preparation, including disclosures and supporting documentation, and act as a key contact during external audit engagements.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of accounting, tax, and regulatory filings in accordance with applicable legislation.
• Compile and maintain audit documentation for entities within scope and support internal review and approval processes.
• Respond to requests and information requirements from tax authorities, auditors, and other regulatory stakeholders.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and contribute to the implementation of accounting and reporting changes when required.
• Produce management reporting and perform reconciliations to ensure consistency between management and statutory reporting outputs.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities where applicable, including monitoring and reporting of financial performance indicators.
• Participate in finance transformation initiatives, process improvement projects, and the development of technical accounting guidance.
• Ensure delivery of agreed financial services and compliance with contractual commitments toward internal or external clients.
• Prepare materials for balance sheet reviews and governance committees while supporting the implementation of internal finance policies and procedures.
• Provide accounting and tax guidance to subsidiaries within the assigned scope and offer support to additional entities when business needs arise.
• Assist with the setup of accounting operations for newly established entities, under the guidance of senior finance leadership.
• Support finance-related start-up activities, including banking arrangements, process implementation, and knowledge transfer to local finance teams.
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of cost accounting structures, allocation methodologies, fixed asset accounting, and project-related financial reporting processes.
• Support reporting requirements associated with joint ventures, partner arrangements, capital calls, and industry-specific contractual frameworks.
• Participate in accounting framework transitions and reporting standard migrations when required.
• Contribute to partner and regulatory audits related to joint venture operations, production-sharing agreements, and other contractual arrangements.
