Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 17, and regulatory accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP GL) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent English (B2/C1 level) is required.

- Oversee and review journal entries for both technical and non-technical transactions, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
- Manage cash settlement processes and month-end/year-end closing activities in accounting systems (e.g., SAP).
- Lead reconciliations for intercompany accounts, bank statements, and general ledger, resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare analysis memos on financial transactions, claims movements, and other technical accounting items.
- Generate reports and perform in-depth analysis on FX movements, tax balances, and expense trends.
- Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and addressing queries.
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
