Scope of the role

Makes sure that the organization can work with the systems required to plan, execute and report the production.
This includes preparing the organization for the systems (training) and prepare the systems for the organization (change-requests),
This includes input and validation of all master data for all relevant systems in scope = prepare systems for users.
SAP (Objective module) Coordinator ensures master data up to date within 1 day and that all users are trained according to plan.
He/she is the key role for no interruptions due to reoccurring issues/ problems.

Systems in the scope of the role
SAP modules related with production processes:
  • module (setup change over matrix)
  • module (BOM, routing, ...)
  • to RM/GLM (necessary data flowing to production) --- must have idea how and what.
  • to EWM (necessary data flowing from production) --- must have idea how and what.
  • database and “technical master data” for OEE, Q&PC measuring equipment, metal detector.
  • TOOLS:BO and BI

Result areas

Buildingknowledge
-deep understanding of the systems to be able to validate changes, train users, and propose and track any changes.

Project follow up/coordination
- collects issues (user-experiences, management requests) and prepare them for the CCB (including motivation and BC)
- participates in change projects of the systems (blueprint check, validation testing, train users, sign off hand over protocol)
- informs the organization about upcoming/expected changes
- will take care of projects wrt system-implementation or -changes (is the linking pin for IT)

Execution
- daily maintaining of the master data in the systems with input from different peers. The different specialist (like technologists) is responsible for the data itself.
- maintaining the "technical master data" in the systems where and when required
- maintain the "frames" in Objective - new and exceptions with the help of the Group Process Assurance Manager
- train new users
- train users for changes/new modules

Support
- organizes 24hr support (1st line support for users, contact for 2nd line support) --> according "ZERO" principle: this is making sure that a problem occurs only once - must be solved permanently or that work around is available and trained out
