Ideal candidates must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Languages – Romanian (Faculty of Letters/Philology) and a teaching qualification;
- Passion for Romanian language, culture, and children’s learning;
- A strong understanding of current teaching methodologies in Romanian language instruction;
- A clear understanding of the diverse needs of students and the ability to differentiate instruction accordingly;
- The ability to plan creative, engaging, and culturally enriching lessons, activities, and learning environments.

International School of Bucharest is a non-profit day school providing a British style of education for children aged 2 to 19 years in Bucharest, Romania’s capital city. Children in the Early Years, Primary and Secondary school (ages 2 to 14) follow the National Curriculum and Cambridge International Curriculum which is adapted to meet the needs of our international student body. Students in Years 10 and 11 follow the Cambridge IGCSE programme. Years 12 and 13 are the final two years of our programme where students are prepared for International Baccalaureate.
