The role plays an important part in ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory, contractual and certification obligations whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement and compliance across the business.
Main Duties include:
• Conduct audits across various areas of the business, in line with the internal audit schedule.
• Conduct audits objectively and independently, recording findings accurately and maintaining appropriate evidence.
• Complete follow up audits to verify corrective actions and address non-conformances.
• Support compliance monitoring activities across the organisation.
• Maintain audit records, compliance trackers, registers and associated documentation.
• Assist with the administration of ISO management systems and certification activities.
• Assist with client audits, questionnaires and assurance requests by collating information and evidence.
• Produce reports on audit outcomes, trends, risks and areas for improvement.
• Identify process weaknesses, control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Support wider information governance, risk and compliance activities as required.
• Undertake ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the wider Risk & Compliance function.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, policies and best practice.
