Technical Manager provides regional veterinary and scientific expertise to support the Business Unit. Partnering with marketing, sales, and regulatory teams, the role ensures scientific excellence, strengthens customer engagement, and supports commercial goals. The TM acts as a trusted advisor to internal teams, external clients, and the scientific community.
Key Responsibilities
External Customer Engagement
•Support local/regional regulatory teams on pharmacovigilance, product communications, and matters requiring veterinary expertise.
•Provide scientific support to farmers, clinics, and KOLs; deliver on-farm/clinic diagnostics with actionable recommendations.
•Develop clear, evidence-based client communications and ongoing scientific education for stakeholders.
Scientific Community & KOL Collaboration
•Share high-quality scientific information through regular engagements with KOLs, universities, and medical stakeholders.
•Plan and deliver education and training initiatives.
•Initiate and lead scientific events (advisory boards, expert meetings, focus groups).
Internal Collaboration
•Design and deliver scientific training for sales and internal teams.
•Integrate customer insights, scientific data, pricing, and product experience into marketing plans.
•Review regional materials for scientific accuracy and compliance; provide field consultancy to support sales.
•Build networks with international TMs and collaborate with global species marketing.
Product Support & Innovation
•Maintain current knowledge across veterinary medicine and market dynamics via literature, KOLs, societies, congresses, and training.
•Co-create scientifically sound promotional materials with marketing.
•Monitor competitors and trends; lead scientific/technical projects aligned with commercial priorities.
Compliance
Ensure all activities meet applicable compliance requirements and the code of conduct.
