We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to become a key link between customers, production planning, procurement, and IT teams. In this role, you will ensure seamless order processing, accurate demand planning, and efficient coordination across the supply chain.
What You'll Do
•Manage order processing and purchasing activities within SAP, ensuring accurate and timely transaction management.
•Coordinate purchasing processes, including purchase order creation, maintenance, and follow-up with suppliers.
•Monitor supplier commitments, delivery schedules, and material availability to support business and production requirements.
•Maintain and update master data related to customers, suppliers, materials, pricing, and logistics within ERP systems.
•Support procurement activities through supplier performance tracking, documentation management, and compliance monitoring.
•Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth supply chain execution.
•Monitor order fulfillment, inventory coverage, demand fluctuations, and supply risks, proactively addressing potential shortages or delays.
•Support production planning and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
•Manage urgent requests, delivery changes, and supply chain escalations in coordination with cross-functional teams.
•Maintain purchasing, supplier, and operational records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
•Support continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement, order management, data accuracy, and process efficiency.
•Collaborate with IT and business teams on system enhancements, ERP processes, electronic transactions, and issue resolution.
•Be part of an international manufacturing organization
•Develop expertise in SAP, supply chain operations, and production planning

•Bachelor's in Procurement, Management Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
•Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
•Good working experience with SAP
•Comfortable working with data and multiple information systems
•Very good Italian and English skills

•Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
