We are recruiting for a client in Bucharest, Romania, operating in the renewable energy industry, for the role of Project Manager - Wind.

About the Role

Manage and deliver wind energy projects from planning through completion, ensuring they meet time, budget, quality, and safety standards while coordinating teams and stakeholders effectively.

Work model: On-site, Bucharest, Romania.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation;

• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine project viability;

• Lead and manage all phases of project implementation, from design and procurement to construction and commissioning;

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget;

• Oversee procurement processes, including the selection of suppliers and subcontractors;

• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure design specifications are met and compliance with relevant codes and standards;

• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports and presentations to stakeholders;

• Monitor and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution;

• Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations;

• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Construction Management, or a related field;

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale wind projects;

• Proven experience managing wind projects from inception to completion;

• Strong understanding of technology and renewable energy principles;

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively;

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and other relevant tools;

• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the renewable energy sector.
