Our client, a multinational company in the energy sector is looking for a Project Manager responsible for coordinating EPC projects for high-voltage substations. The role involves leading the project team and collaborating with technical, procurement, installation, and commissioning departments, while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and delivery standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with EPC contracts (electrical/civil works);
• Background in Project Engineering/Contract Management within the Transmission & Distribution industry;
• Strong knowledge of contract management;
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred);
• Project Management certification (e.g. IPMA, PMI);
• Knowledge of project management methodologies – advanced;
• Experience in project finance, forecasting, and cost control – medium;
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills – advanced;
• Ability to coordinate multicultural teams and work across regions – medium;
• Proficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint – medium;
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and risk management processes – advanced;
• Strong understanding of Transmission & Distribution standards and substation primary & secondary systems – advanced;
• English language – advanced;
• Availability to travel up to 20% of working time.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the delivery of EPC projects for high-voltage substations;
• Manage the project team and collaborate with technical, procurement, installation, and commissioning teams;
• Ensure compliance with technical, quality, and HSE requirements throughout the project lifecycle;
• Identify and manage risks, variations, and opportunities within the project;
• Take ownership of costs, budgets, and project schedules;
• Prepare monthly progress reports and represent the company in client-facing discussions;
• Manage technical requests, design risks, and internal and external reporting;
• Provide support to the sales and tendering teams for upcoming projects;
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, quality standards, occupational health and safety, and fire protection rules.
