Project Controls Engineer - Water Sector

•Master’s degree in Civil or Hydrotechnical Engineering;
•4-5 years experience in construction projects (Project Controlling, estimation, technical preparation of works, or Site Management)
•Understands the connection between cost, time, and technical scope in construction project delivery
•Experience in water or wastewater projects is a strong advantage
•Skilled user of iTWO (or similar estimation software is an advantage), with confident use of Excel for analysis and synthesis of large volumes of project data
•Familiarity with MS Project, HG 1/2018 contract conditions, and BIM is an advantage
•Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable - able to identify problems early and communicate them clearly.
•Good team player, able to work within a multidisciplinary team
•Valid driving licence (Category B) and regular monthly site visits are required
•Good command of English language.

•Work as an active member of the project team across all phases, in close collaboration with design, procurement, execution, and commercial teams
•Design Phase (office-based): Participate in project development and cost optimisation; prepare, control, and update work estimations
•Construction Phase: Conduct regular monthly site visits to observe work progress, identify scope deviations, quantity overruns, and identify risks; discuss findings directly with project management on all essential technical and cost-related aspects
•Prepare Monthly Project Reports with target vs. actual comparisons (Cost, Revenue, Work Progress) and Work Program Baseline deviation analysis, issue early warnings and propose corrective actions
•Determines and controls budget values for subcontractor and supplier contract award proposals and variation orders
•Updates and monitors monthly progress of subcontractors and suppliers based on inputs provided by site engineers responsible for subcontract and supplier management
•Support risk evaluation, Claims preparation, and variation order analyses

The role combines engineering insight, cost controlling, and close daily cooperation with the project team - from early design through construction completion, including regular monthly site visits.
