Production Planner Engineer

• You have an education in a technical field
• You are an engineer and have at least 2 years of working experience in an industrial environment and/or in a similar function
• Knowledge of Romanian and English is required. Knowledge of any additional language is considered to be a plus
• You are analytically very strong and your approach is process oriented
• You want that things go smooth & according to plan, and you are capable to translate your technical expertise and knowledge in pragmatic and sound solutions
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You know how to balance discussions and you are able to escalate to higher management when needed.
• You encourage dialogue and sharing of knowledge
• You are a teamplayer that can perform his tasks independently

• Responsible for correct planning (parameters) in SAP for the orders assigned
• Assist the master scheduler in making a realistic, reliable and consistent master plan
• Follow-up the orders assigned to him/her as from design to final delivery :
• Participate to internal kick-off meeting
• Prepare for and participate to the regular meetings
• Be the internal focal point of contact for execution of the order
• Follow-up of the progress of the works at the subcontractors. Interacts intensively with the responsible buyer.
• Assure correct data of the order in SAP : discuss, challenge and take actions together with the other departments : purchasing, method, logistics, shipping & project management
• Continuously align with the master scheduler to have a consistent overall production plan and coherent rescheduling if needed
• Assure that all necessary resources, jigs & materials are available to allow a smooth processing of the orders in production
• Foresee that all necessary documents & instructions are available for production, such as (but not limited to)
• In case sticking to the plan is not possible : take action that foreseen (production) capacity or resources is efficiently rescheduled
• Follow-up of production orders :
• Reports the cost data: realised versus planned : both hours & material
