Procurement Expert (Project Coordinator)

Your Profile:

• Relevant experience in procurement and project coordination, ideally in the energy or construction sectors;
• Good knowledge of the Romanian supplier market;
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written);
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
• Strong organizational and communication skills;
• Attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and a collaborative mindset;
• Driving license.

Solarpro SRL Romania, part of the Solarpro Group, is currently looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Procurement Expert (Project Coordinator). You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating materials and services for photovoltaic (PV) projects, ensuring seamless delivery and effective collaboration between suppliers and project teams.

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify and source subcontractors and vendors for specific project needs;
• Negotiate procurement of materials and services for PV projects;
• Purchase materials and services from local suppliers and coordinate delivery to project sites;
• Ensure timely delivery of resources in the correct quantity and condition;
• Coordinate resource requirements for each client project, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications;
• Communicate with project and site managers to prepare and submit RFQs;
• Maintain daily communication with site staff and summarize project progress;
• Participate in meetings with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements;
• Prepare acceptance protocols, licenses, certificates, and other documents required for project closure;
• Read and understand project specifications and data requirements;
• Prepare and submit information reports to management, summarizing project progress and resource usage.
