• Language (Mandatory): German language proficiency is mandatory. Input documents and requirements are handled case-by-case in English and German, but all routing cards must be created in German.
• Travel & Training (Mandatory): Flexibility for travel to Germany is strictly required. The role demands a minimum estimated training time of approximately 2 months at the German plant.

We are recruiting a technical and detail-oriented ME Process Engineer to join our team in Brasov. In this role, you will be responsible for assembly work preparation and supporting our manufacturing operations from the german plants. You will act as a core link between engineering and production, ensuring that manufacturing processes, routing cards, and systems are aligned and perfectly prepared for series production.

TASKS/ACTIVITIES:
Ø Collaborative-Design to Manufacturing (Co-Design/Co-Indus)
Ø Contribute to all phases of the design to ensure industrial needs are taken into account.
Ø Push industrial requirements to Engineering (specific design/M&P) & Supply Chain.
Ø Introduce Manufacturing best practice/ standardization into design
Ø Define Build Process for ME
Ø Calculate the time at operation level
Ø Manage Technical Sequencing
Ø Specify industrial asset (Jigs, Tools, Tooling, Machines,…) requirements for creation or modification
Ø Drive implementation of 1st installation with required shop floor feedback loops for Manufacturing readiness (production handover)
Ø Plan regular feedback loops with the Production Team

Ø Create / update routings / BoM / SOI taken into account shop floor needs, Time calculation and Work Preparation Golden Rules in accordance with applicable ABP processes
Ø Perform Standard Work (The best way to perform tasks described in the SOI-The How)
Ø Implement Standard Time Value in Routings
Ø Ensure Execution of robust, reliable and safe operations
Ø Run and support PFMEA/FMEA
Ø Engineering technical information
Ø Participate Quality control board by providing measurement tasks. Run and secure capability process
Ø Components/parts definition, specifications and jigs & tools activities support
Ø Contribute to supply chain management guaranteeing full consistency and effectivity of data (eg: Missing part, stock, MRP impacts)
Ø Interface Maintenance tasks
Ø Consider Health & Safety regulation

Ø ME Signature on Airbus Process Specifications, Airbus Process Instructions (AIPS/AIPI) and MNI (Manufacturing Notice Instruction)
Ø Manage key / recurrent work prep issues escalated by the Production Team / Tech shop floor support
Ø Communicate directly and by a physical participation in Production Team routines and participate in project works in cross-skilled teams (national / international)
Ø Support shop floor continuous improvement by providing work prep expertise when issues not managed at shop floor level by technical shop floor support.
Ø Optimize further development for production processes (CI-measures)
Ø Advising in the budget preparation, sometimes involved in CAPEX planning to support determination of cost improvement measures.
Ø Evaluate industrial impacts of modifications in collaboration with IA, ISE, Industrial Technologies jobs, TDE, PPE
Ø Perform and support Run@Rate process if applicable
