Process Engineer (Welding or Milling)

Professional Knowledge & Skills (depending on the specialization):

• Technical University Degree;
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position, in the automotive sector preferable;
• Professional knowledge of pneumatics, electro-pneumatics;
• Knowledge of assembly lines & welding process or milling;
• Knowledge of programming welding or milling machines & CAM CNC programming;
• Fluent in English;

Responsibilities:

• Drives continuous improvements in terms of Quality, Efficiency, Ergonomics, and Safety;
• Cooperates with the Production, Quality, Industrial Engineering, and Launch Management departments to obtain continuous optimization of the processes and reduction of scrap;
• Cooperates in optimizing existing processes;
• Collaborates with the developing team for new projects;
• Participates in the development of the industrialization plan;
• Ensures long-term process capability (data collection, analysis, plan of measures);
• Understands and provides expertise related to interactions between equipment, processes, and materials in delivering the final product;
• Provides mentoring and onboarding training for new team members in Process Engineering;
• Adjusts machine control systems correct processing programs, conducts test runs and functional tests, and validates the process;
• Recognizes and eliminates weak areas and develops suggestions to eliminate them.
