Candidatul Ideal
To meet the needs of our students for the academic year 2023-2024, we are looking for the following teaching positions:
1. ICT teacher for primary and secondary years
2. MYP/DP Physics teachers
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field
- English advanced level (the instruction language in our school is English)
- IB workshops/courses are an advantage
- Excellent organization, communication and diverse teaching methods
- Integrity, discipline and professionalism

Key objectives of the position:
- to carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the school's policies under the direction of the Principal
- to be an informed, reflective practitioner who uses inquiry based strategies to create positive learning environments, which motivate and challenge all learners in their class to become self-regulated, life-long learners and leaders
Duties and Responsibilities:
- having a working knowledge of teacher's professional duties and legal liabilities
- operating at all times within the stated policies and practices of the school
- establish effective and appropriate relationships with colleagues and parents
- setting good example through presentation and personal and professional conduct
- co-operating with other staff to ensure a sharing and effective usage of resources to the benefit of the school and learners
- contributing to the corporate life of the school through effective participation in meetings and management systems necessary to coordinate the management of the school
- taking part in marketing and liaison activities such as Open Days and events with other schools
- plan and prepare for the school's enrichment program and extra-curricular activities
- inform parents through communication notebook or e-mail of pertinent incidents that happen in school
- be responsible for the supervision of the students (before class - morning duty roster, during class hours, at break time and lunch times - lunch duty roster) and carry out any other duties as agreed with the Principal
- provide a stimulating and challenging classroom environment with displays that reflect the
students’ learning
- participate in sharing sessions, in-school training and conferences
- use appropriate resources in class and promote the care and respect for all materials we use in school

Bucharest-Beirut International School was founded in 2003 and is accredited by the Lebanese and Romanian Ministries of Education.
We are an International Baccalaureate World School, offering the Primary Years Programme for children aged 3 to 11 and the Diploma Programme for students aged 16 to 19.
