PLC programmer for commissioning

Training/Qualification

Completed vocational training as electric, electronics, automation, computer science, robotics or mechatronics engineer
High willingness to travel and flexibility
Ability to work under pressure and in a team
Good command of the English language
Basic knowpeledge regarding the German language are very welcome
Driving licence class B

Working in ALPMA head office

Simulation of the software in ALPMA office
Tests running in ALPMA office for pre-commsssioning
Remote technical support for end customers

Work on the end customer site

Test of the safety device
VDE acceptance test according to the Alpma protocol
Tests running and commissioning, production support
Hardware work on a small scale during changes and troubleshooting
10h/day, 6 days/week were it is allowed, otherwise according to the local law.
3-week delegation cycle in Europe, overseas 4-week delegation cycle
Shift operation possible
Night shift work is possible but quite unlikely

Technical requirements

1. PLC Simatic / Manager TIA

Handling of the Simatic Manager/TIA (open blocks, go to point of use, cross references, language switching, online connection, compare blocks, archive project files)
Hardware configuration (changes, handling Net-Pro, signal exchange (structure, function, send/receive) Profibus, MPI, TCP/IP, gateway)
Handling the diagnostic tools (controlling variables, online diagnostics, reading diagnostic repeaters and diagnostic buffers, operating status of the CPU and bus participants)
Difference of data types (BOOL, BYTE, WORD, DOUBLE, REAL, INT, DOUBLE-INT, S5-Time...)
Logic blocks (AND, OR, XOR, etc.)
Dealing with the different program languages IL/KOP/FUP/SCL/S7-Graph
Difference between block types FC/FB/SFC/OB/DB/UDT -> e.g. DB Difference between "actual and initial value
Multi-instance DB, multi-instance FB -> Monitor online status
Handling of variables (variable table, temporary variables, static variables,)

2. Optional – KUKA robots

Knowledge of the operating modes (T1, T2, AUT EXT)
Knowledge of the different coordinate systems ($Tool, $Base, $World)
General basic knowledge of programming must be available
Functions of the SMART pad are known

3. Optional – Drive technology

Basic knowledge of drive technology (asynchronous / synchronous drive, pneumatics) - Optional

Details about recruitment and employment:

These jobs involve employment in Romania at our partner in Bucharest.
We recruit candidates regardless of the county of residence.
The activity is carried out by delegation abroad, especially in Germany at Alpenland Maschinenbau GmbH for PLC programming, pre-commissioning and remote technical supprt, as well as at the end customers' headquarters for commissioning, service and maintenance activities, especially in Europe, but less often on other continents. Delegations abroad alternate with home-office activities or recovery.
There is no need to work at the headquarters in Bucharest.
Driving license is mandatory.
It is necessary to know the English language at a conversational level.
Basic knowledge of German is welcome, or the openness to learn German through courses organized in Romania and/or Germany.
