Requirements (must have):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance of production equipment.
- Strong computer literacy: SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Advanced knowledge in preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Proficient in maintenance planning and execution.
- Strong problem-solving skills and defect analysis capabilities.
- Intermediate level of written and spoken English.
Requirements (nice to have):
- Experience in implementing new maintenance technologies (e.g. sensors, condition monitoring).
- Familiarity with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in training delivery and competence assessment.
- Basic knowledge of safety and security norms (e.g. LOTO, machinery safety).

Role Overview:
The Plant Maintenance Specialist is responsible for continuously improving maintenance processes to maximize the efficiency and availability of production equipment. The role involves the implementation of Preventive Maintenance (PM) standards, analysis of maintenance data, collaboration with maintenance and production teams, and the development of customized training programs to support a proactive maintenance culture.
Responsibilities:
- Implement PM standards and procedures across the plant, in alignment with WCM (World Class Manufacturing) principles.
- Assist teams in using PM tools and developing local maintenance procedures to standardize practices.
- Analyze historical maintenance data (failures, downtime, costs) to identify trends and prioritize improvement actions.
- Evaluate existing maintenance strategies and propose improvements based on criticality, performance, and cost.
- Optimize maintenance planning and scheduling to balance equipment needs with production demands.
- Ensure proper cost and spare parts allocation by line, equipment, and maintenance type (routine, overhaul).
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand specific challenges and propose practical solutions.
- Lead the implementation of new maintenance technologies (e.g. sensors, monitoring systems, data analytics tools).
- Periodically assess the effectiveness of implemented maintenance strategies and propose necessary adjustments.
- Identify skills gaps within the maintenance team and deliver targeted training sessions.
- Promote a proactive, continuous improvement mindset within the maintenance team.
- Prepare regular performance reports for plant management.
