Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Plant Controller to join our team and support the financial management and operational performance of the manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in industrial controlling, strong analytical skills, and proven experience using SAP in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a proactive, independent professional capable of working closely with Plant Management and cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency, improve profitability, and support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor plant financial performance, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of key financial and operational indicators.

• Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

• Monitor manufacturing costs, including production costs, labor, overheads, raw materials, and inventory valuation.

• Analyze cost variances between actual results, budget, and forecasts, identifying corrective actions and improvement opportunities.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate reporting requirements.

• Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, production variances, and working capital.

• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other departments to improve operational efficiency and cost control.

• Provide financial analysis and decision-making support to Plant Management.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, cost optimization projects, and profitability analysis.

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency within SAP and other reporting systems.

• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in Controlling, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Proven experience in industrial controlling, manufacturing cost analysis, and plant performance monitoring.

• Good working knowledge of SAP, preferably SAP CO (Controlling) and FI (Financial Accounting); experience with SAP PP or MM is considered an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost accounting, and financial reporting.

• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with management reporting tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and interact effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels.

• Good communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.

• Good English.
