Role Overview
As a Planogram Specialist at Douglas, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing visual planograms that ensure strategic product placement across our store network. You will play a key role in driving customer engagement, maximizing shelf productivity, and supporting the brand’s premium visual identity in all store formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update planograms in line with brand guidelines, commercial strategy, and store layouts.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Category Management teams to align planograms with product launches, promotions, and business priorities.
- Ensure planograms reflect cluster needs, seasonal trends, and beauty category logic (e.g., skincare, fragrance, make-up).
- Ensure compliance with the implementation rules for product categories and store formats
- Collect product-related information (e.g., dimensions, packaging, etc.)
- Communicate the finalized or updated planograms to the respective format owners
- Review and update planograms by replacing or adding products based on changes identified or received from the Category Management (CATMAN) team
- Flag to the CATMAN team any articles that need to be replaced
- Prepare weekly reports regarding updates and changes in the planograms
- Analyze sales data and category performance to improve shelf productivity and suggest planogram improvements.
- Support the rollout of new store openings, renovations, and concept implementations with accurate planograms.
- Provide guidelines and training materials for store teams to ensure correct implementation and consistency.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure planogram compliance in-store and track key KPIs.
