Piroi™ Accountant (Accounting Firm Experience Required)

REQUIREMENTS

• Accounting firm experience: 3+ years in an accounting firm.
• "Nivel balanta": you have independently handled bookkeeping, month‑end close and trial balance review for multiple companies/entities.
• "Nivel bilant": you have independently prepared and filed annual statutory financial statements under Romanian accounting regulations.
• Consolidations: group‑level reporting exposure
• ANAF: you have independently prepared and submitted ANAF filings in practice (not only assisted/reviewed) and supported ANAF tax inspections by preparing documents and written responses
• Languages: fluent English (written + spoken) for client communication; Romanian proficiency for local compliance documentation and statutory requirements
• Systems:
  • working proficiency in collaborative tools and strong spreadsheet skills
  • data visualisation tools: Power BI / Looker Studio (or similar)
  • RPA / automation tooling experience beyond basic flows: in the last 12 months, you have used/developed own RPA/software robots (e.g., 4Secunde, Power Automate Desktop, UiPath or similar) to automate repetitive accounting workflows
  • Typing speed above 40 words per minute, as certified by independent tests such as https://10fastfingers.com/typing-test/romanian
  • Time-saving: in the past 6 months, you have imported bank transactions from a CSV statement into an accounting system (instead of manually entering transactions from PDF/paper statements)
• Professional conduct: confidentiality, accuracy, strong deadline ownership, proactive risk escalation. Two positive referrals from previous employers
• Qualification track: CECCARCAFR/CCF/ACCA/CFA student/member

• This role is strictly for professionals with experience in an Accounting Firm (handling a portfolio of multiple clients).
• Applications from candidates with only single-company (industry) experience will not be considered.

THE DEAL

• Net Salary: €1,000 – €1,350 (based on education and skills) + Meal Vouchers.
• Bonus: Monthly performance bonus (10% of extra services delivered).
• Education: We cover the costs of your remaining ACCA exams.
• Location: Bucharest (Piața Victoriei) – On-site 4 days/week.
• Contract: Full‑time, indefinite (probation period as per Romanian law)
• Membership: Member of TIAG | TAG Alliances, 3rd largest global alliance of independent accounting firms and law firms

WHO YOU ARE

• The Agency Pro: You have 3+ years in an accounting firm. You know how to juggle multiple clients and ANAF inspections without missing a deadline.
• The Tech Enthusiast: You don't just use Excel; you use VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and are eager to learn automation. Note: We will teach you the robots, but you must have the mindset.
• The Communicator: You speak and write fluent English. Our portfolio is international.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Portfolio Management: Full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting (SAGA + Cloud tools) for a diverse portfolio of international and local clients.
• Statutory & Compliance: Preparation of annual financial statements and all ANAF declarations (VAT, SAF-T etc.).
• Client Advisory: You are the first point of contact for your clients (also in English).
