Operations Manager

Based in Cluj Napoca, Romania, The Operations Manager will provide operational leadership to all current and future Measurement Solutions Systems European operations, driving continuous improvement in all processes and performance, ensuring the highest standards are always maintained. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Engage with customers throughout project execution to ensure customer happiness as well as growing revenue opportunity from upselling and variation orders and ensure that all European MSS orders are delivered on time, on budget and on quality;
* Provide the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast for Sales and Asset Management at European and Hubs level to the European finance team. Work closely with Director MSS Europe to validate POR;
* Together with MSS leadership, develop and implement the MSS Europe strategic plan and take ownership of the relevant pivotal initiatives;
* Responsible for consistently identifying and implementing global operation Project Management Office processes and procedures, standard methodologies in engineering, supply chain and other functions to ensure excellence in project execution and delivery;
* Ensure collaboration between local and global functions including MSS Center of Excellence with reference to both project lead-time and cost of completion;
* Support the project sales team with quote development and prioritization of enquiries, ensuring operational resources are allocated as required to ensure project proposals are driven as well as collaboration with respect to technical solution, cost/price and delivery;
* Ensure Operation team provides solution and application expertise to the sales channel and customers then engage with relevant customers and internal resources throughout project pursuit process to build solutions to customer and engineering problems;
* Provide leadership and supervision for direct reports. Establish personal development plans including training needs and identify needs and propose organizational changes or extensions. Perform annual performance reviews and provide feedback;
* Fulfill Delegation of Authority Requests within the DOA guidelines and approve leave and expenses;

For This Role, You Will Need:
* Bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject area (preferably chemical, electrical, mathematics or physics);
* Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Project Management and Engineering; excellent sales and operations orientation, preferably in a Control/Instrumentation/Engineering environment;
*  5 years' experience in leading teams in an inter-national / inter-cultural environment;
* Have a proven record to develop strong business system strategies and the ability to lead multiple initiatives, sites and budgets;
* Strong presentation and written communication skills;
* Proficient English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 
* Project Management qualification preferred (PMP or equivalent).
