The primary objective of this role is to design, validate, and implement advanced telecommunication solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security through expert-level technical oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and end-to-end network lifecycle management

Main activity's:

• Design and/or design validation of new solutions for all Business lines 

• Follow-up on all activities like network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and security

• Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures

•  Ensures continuity of Telecommunication services and collaborates with internal and external teams

• Provides technical expertise for all Digital Solutions projects

• Analyzes any type of traffic and designs new functionalities required by the Business

• Implements Telecommunication services for large and complex sites, including validation and acceptance of solutions 

• Works with all Digital Solutions departments, including system engineers, level 1 support staff to resolve issues

• Ensures quality of services during changes in Telecommunication solutions

• Ensures oral and written knowledge transfer, including training of technical team members

• Responsible for service continuity, monitoring and incident response in the Telecommunications area

• Proposes solutions and means to improve the activity

Necessary skills:

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience

• Experience in managing various computer network infrastructures, including design, implementation and service provisioning, experience with routers, switches, wi-fi, firewalls, VPN, wi-fi, VoIP  (also experience with network troubleshooting tools) 

• Experience in Monitoring performance and ensures system availability including reliability of all components in the solution

• Cisco certifications (CCNP Enterprise and at least a secondary CCNP or specialist certification, to cover one from below - see nice to have section)

•  Palo Alto and/or Fortinet certification

• Fully understands the needs and priorities of the internal customer and maintains active communication with all parties involved.
  Actively collaborates with others across organizational or regional boundaries to pursue common goals.
  Experience in transferring knowledge to other engineers.
  Crisis management skills, planning, prioritizing and organizing skills
  Analytical and synthesis skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, Automation, Computer Science or equivalent 

Nice to have relevant experience with: 

• OT solutions / Utilities Business lines solutions - SCADA, Smart Meter, Telemetering, Power Charging stations, M2M 

• Cisco ISE and integrations with other platforms 

• Understanding of cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP) 

• Knowledge of automation and scripting for network management (e.g., Python, Bash)
