Candidatul Ideal

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Textile Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a Production Manager, or a similar role, in a sewing factory or textile manufacturing environment – this is a MUST
Strong analytical skills with the ability to read production data, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
Proficiency in production planning, capacity analysis, and resource allocation.
In-depth practical knowledge of balancing production sewing lines while keeping low WIP levels, within a small orders environment and with proven results – this is a very relevant requirement.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving common goals.
Staff training skills; ability to put in place effective and consistent staff training plans
Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and machinery, with the ability to assess and recommend equipment upgrades, special devices or modifications – this is a very relevant requirement.
Experience in implementing and sustaining lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges.
Previous significant operational and project lead roles.
Availability to travel (not in a regular basis; within Romania and/or abroad)

Descrierea jobului

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs without compromising quality.
  • Analyze production requirements and ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︂​︁︃︁determine optimal machinery and manpower allocation for each order to meet production targets.
  • Conduct daily performance analysis, identify bottlenecks in the production line, and propose and implement effective solutions. Ensure line balancing, granting flow and low level of WIP
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians, supervisors, and production staff, setting clear expectations, communicating challenges and targets, and providing positive feedback and coaching.
  • Support the maintenance team to develop the equipment maintenance plan to ensure availability and maintenance of necessary equipment timely.
  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure adherence to product specifications and customer requirements.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance productivity.
  • Ensure compliance on health and safety.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Achieve or exceed targets set for production KPIs such as: efficiency to reach 70% AVG on 2024 second semester and 80% AVG in 2025, quality, and costs.
