Manager Planning and Scheduling

The Manager Planning and Scheduling will lead and coordinate the Planning and Scheduling activities within the Cluj Measurement Manufacturing Center. Responsible for developing and coordinating the master production schedule to achieve company objectives in the areas of customer service, driven lead-times, inventory management and manufacturing efficiency! Support a learning organization by leading change and continuous improvement activities and participate in relevant global Emerson projects!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Manage activities and responsibilities of the team for order scheduling, timely follow-up on lead time requests, other order related queries and effective escalation management;
* Comprehend all aspects for products Master Scheduling and how it interfaces with Oracle ASCP;
* Development and maintenance of the Production Planning Release Schedule in line with customer’s requirements. Main outcome of this process is planning schedules supporting customer’s expectations;
* Coordinate the planning teams, and work with the Supply Chain organization, to ensure that materials are available in line with the capacity available and customer requirements;
* Develop/Improve the Materials & Capacity Planning process in order to achieve efficient inventory level;
* Support Presidents Operating Review (POR) reporting, backlog and service level reporting;
* Co-Lead daily Production meeting together with Production leaders;
* Maintain and communicate the prospectus lead times;
* Implement an effective continuous improvement program ensuring principles of Perfect Execution and 5S+1 is embedded in the planning processes;
* Participate in Planning related Growth programs, Strategic Plans, and key Operations Plans;
* Ensure appropriate staffing and training needs in relation with the HR department and ensure compliance to ethics and compliance regulations;
* Drive adherence to ISO standards in the team and represent team during re(certification) audits.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent Business field;
* Minimum of 5 years relevant (management) experience, preferably in an international Operations or Supply Chain environment;
* Knowledge of LEAN, continuous improvement, and statistical process control are beneficial;
* Proficient English language skills; verbal, reading & writing;
* Experience using an ERP system, preferably Oracle.;

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Business Analytics preferred;
* APICS CPIM preferred.
