LEGAL COUNSEL (m/f)
Location: Bucharest, Romania | Full-time | Employment contract for an indefinite period
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts and other legal documents.
Provide practical legal advice to management and business teams on commercial, corporate and company law matters.
Identify legal and business risks and recommend clear, practical solutions.
Support the company in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, including GDPR and data protection matters.
Monitor relevant changes in legislation and assess their potential impact on the business.
Coordinate and manage external lawyers and legal advisors when required.
Work closely with management and other departments on a broad range of legal and business matters.
Take ownership of assigned legal areas.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
University degree in Law (licență în drept or equivalent).
Relevant professional experience as a lawyer or in-house legal adviser (consilier juridic), preferably in an in-house legal, commercial or corporate environment.
Good knowledge of Romanian commercial and corporate legislation.
Native Romanian and strong written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Previous experience in an international company or with cross-border legal matters is an advantage.
Valid category B driving licence (required for business travel to dealers and partners in Romania).
