Junior Planning Manager

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in public works contracts: civil engineering works / transport infrastructure ( railway,subway, tram)
• Degree in Engineering or similar
• Knowledge on contract management terms aligned with the legislation (ex. HG1/2018)
• Proficiency in MS Office, Project Management software (ex. Primavera)
• Planning and project management skills
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills
• A sound understanding of safety protocols
• Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines

We are searching for a well-organized self-starter with great attention to detail to join our team as a junior planning engineer with potential to develop skills for contract management. Day-to-day responsibilities include drawing up work schedules and budgets under the supervision of a Senior, data input for project specifications and cost, provide support to a Senior in all matters related to the assigned projects: from managing resources, communicating with surveyors, managers, and other engineers. You should be able to analyze data, write reports, and offer support in elaborating presentations to various stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

• Addressing planning requirements on assigned projects under a Senior supervision
• Addressing progress monitoring functions on assigned projects
• Contribute to the improvement of existing planning and progress monitoring systems for the assigned projects
• Ensure project controls are monitored for the assigned projects
• Compile and maintain records of construction productivity data
• Provide contract administration support as required
• Provide support for the establishment of project resource schedules
• Updating, monitoring and reviewing contractor construction schedules, submittals, material delivery, procurement logs and daily follow-up in addition to the necessary productivity measurement studies and associated corrective measures
